Great ambiance and service, the bathrooms upstairs are super nice too! We ordered the set menu which came with a bunch of appetizers, mains, and two desserts to share with everyone. This is a great option for a larger group so we can try a lot of items. Highlights were the tomato feta dip, brussel sprouts, and falafel (one of the best I've had so far). Would def come back for a special occasion!

A NOMAD must not miss. An inspired menu, coupled with a heighten decor, creates a rather refined vibe. Tasteful touches abound, but the food is why you're here. There's no wrong move...unless you sleep on the speciality cocktails. That's the wrong move. The baba ghannouge is a revelation. The staff is well informed and always attentive. You could eat elsewhere in NOMAD, but that would be simply mad. (Sorry)

Amazing Mediterranean/turkish/Lebanese food! We loved the gorgeous hand painted lamps, the beautiful blue backdrop and the olive trees. I enjoyed the hummus and baba ganoush and the bread was definitely the STAR! The staff was very attentive and was very friendly. Will visit again soon.

I had been to Zaytinya before, but was excited to go back at my parent's suggestion during their visit to NYC yesterday. The interior of this place is stunning, with lots of natural light, plants, and funky blue and white decor. The staff are always lovely and accommodating, taking coats upon arrival. Our waiter was also extremely attentive and helpful at every stage of the meal. I ordered the 3pm in Instanbul cocktail which I really liked. It was fresh, sweet, and slightly tart because of the grapefruit. There's also mint tea infused vodka, aperol, vanilla, and lime in the cocktail which made it the perfect transition to spring drink ($22). The meal starts with pita, which in my opinion, needs the olive oil to not be dry. We also ordered the grape leaves dolmades ($15) as an appetizer which were good, but truthfully, they weren't the best I've had. We had the family style kebab platter as an entree which includes lamb, koftee, chicken, and adana kebabs paired with tomato, onion, and garlic toum ($72). This was great, however I definitely recommend dressing the meets with the garnishes. To finish out the meal, we ordered the Turkish coffee molten-lava cake ($14) which was good, but I would have preferred more ooey gooey chocolate in the center. Overall, an enjoyable experience and I'm happy to have shared it with my parents!

Beautiful space adjacent to the Ritz-Carlton Nomad. Our service was attentive and friendly, server had a warm demeanor and good sense of humor. The food, pan Mediterranean, was very good with interesting spices. Good wine list and recommendations in terms of pairing. Would happily eat here again.

I came here last night to celebrate a late birthday dinner with a friend, per the recommendation of a coworker who works closely with the hotel. This stunning José Andrés restaurant is located inside of a Ritz Carlton but is easy to find with its own street entrance. I requested for two glasses of cava to be served up upon our arrival and the staff was kind enough to comp it for the celebration! We were then served complementary bread with olive oil and some vinegar to start. We both ordered cocktails, his was the Minoan Sidecar and mine was the Olive Branch Martini. I have always been on the fence about that stuff all of martinis, but this one completely changed my mind and was so easy to drink! I highly recommend checking out the menu ahead of time, especially if you're not familiar with Turkish/Mediterranean cuisine, as a lot of the names were unfamiliar, however, you truly can't go wrong. I had the Avgotaraho which was like nothing I've had before. It was very interesting and had a great fishy flavor, but wasn't very filled. He had the bantijian bil laban, which was unique and had so many great textures with the perfectly crisp eggplant and all around delicious and a great starter. We both shared the soujouk pide, as my friend mentioned this Turkish sausage meat was difficult to find and it was outstanding! For dessert, we split the Turkish coffee chocolate cake which was small yet rich and decadent. Perfect to split and the perfect ending to a fantastic night. Our servers were helpful, attentive and kind and I would absolutely return here!!

We chose Zaytinya for our Restaurant Week dinner. We mostly chose this because of the vast variety of options to choose from. Connected to the Ritz Carlton Nomad, this is a very elegant dining experience. I enjoyed the tiling behind the bars, but the ceilings are also super high too. Definitely a very fancy place, but also super packed even during the weekdays For Restaurant Week, they served 4 courses. I'll at least tell you what I ate: 1) Htipiti: This is a red pepper and feta dip of sorts. But it's also a dip that you can easily eat with a fork and not need any pita bread too. I was impressed. It was quite tasty. I don't know why I never had it before, but this was a good start. 2) Falafel: Falafels were solid as expected. But I was shocked that this was just the second meal. This could easily be something I could split with my girl. There were plenty of falafel balls and the tahini on the bottom of the bowl was a perfect touch. I also really liked the salad they added on top of it. 3) Mujadara: This is a great dish, really love the lentils and the crispy shallots reminded me of eating onion rings. But after eating all the falafels, I couldn't finish the entire thing. This was a huge serving for one. I do wonder if this dish would be better with a bit more yogurt or some on the side because it can get dry pretty easily. Tasty nonetheless. 4) Almond Cake: I wasn't too crazy about the Sorbet, but the almond cake itself was pretty good. But after all that food, it was hard to finish. And we had a second dessert too. To add onto this, there was also the following: 1) Pita Bread: This was really really fresh. Only small gripe I have is that I wish the dip was not a balsamic drip and instead just a plain olive oil drip. The balsamic was a bit too strong. 2) Cocktails: I ordered a 3PM in Instanbul and my girl ordered a Mediterranean Gin & Tonic. Both were really really good. So overall, great food.... but a LOT to consume. If it wasn't restaurant week, we'd probably share a falafel and maybe the pilaf and call it a day.

Coming from a part of the US with strong Greek and Lebanese influence, I came to Zaytinya optimistic and extremely curious. All of the plates we tried were delicious, perfectly seasoned, and exceptionally pleasing to the eye. Same with the atmosphere - the vibe of the plates is carried through in the details throughout the restaurant, with splashes of color and layered textures and patterns. Zaytinya provides a thoughtful and reverent take on some of the best cuisine in the world, and if you're in the area, it is highly recommended.
